Information about the Domain Registry of Canada (DROC)

If you own a domain registered in Canada at some point you will probably receive a mailing that looks like an official government document in the typical beige envelope. It will be named the Domain Registry of Canada (DROC) and will be notifying you of your domain expiration and how to renew your domain with them. They are not affiliated with the government in any way. They are a domain registrar just like any other ones out there. We just wanted to let others know as we just received one of these notices ourselves and it looked like a government notice. Just an FYI.
